airLUCE lighting

I don't know exactly how much this one costs, but I will admit that I will gladly admire it from afar.  Tranlogue Associates released its airLUCE series and it reminds me of underwater creatures.  This particular model is called "Bellflower".  Can you imagine having this hanging from your ceiling?!?  Crazy!  I'd be so busy looking up, I wouldn't get anything done.

World Market has an awesome deal on this "Eastern Lattice Tapestry Wall Hanging".  This beautiful dry-clean tapestry would be striking on any wall.  And at $170, it's affordable too.

Alright, I confess, this isn't a "home decor" post, but who cares.  Vikki's just came out with their new Fall lineup and I'm hooked.  I'm sure you guys have seen it already, but if you haven't, check it out.  Their clothes have style and substance.

Spool Coffee Table

Here's another all-time favorite of mine.  The spool coffee table was once available at cb2 (Crate and Barrel).  I am secretly hoping enough people will bug C&B, that it will become available again.  Over 1000 square iron rings hand welded together, with a glass top.  Modern, elegant, and airy.  Don't you absolutely love it?!?

Hello and welcome to my new blog.  A few years ago, I purchased my new home, and since then I've been into all things design.  Sculptures, lighting, couches, coffee tables.  And, of course, the unexpected, oil and vinegar set!

Check out this oil and vinegar set made by Dutch Design firm Jansen +Company.  Only $35.  What a find?  I think the only issue you will have will be to convince your mother or grandmother not to flip it upside down ;)  Stylish, modern, and functional.  Awesome!
